Palm Sunday Service - April 13th

Palm Processional and Baptism at 10am

Maundy Thursday - April 17th

From 6:30-7pm our Labyrinth in Dykman Hall will be available for a candle light Labyrinth Walk. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. They are an ancient symbol of wholeness, a meandering but purposeful path, a journey to our own center and back again out into the world.

At 7pm we will move over to the sanctuary for our Service of Tenebrae with communion, music and readings. This is a contemplative and reflective experience designed to encourage participants to experience the significance of Holy Week. If you have not attended before, this is a beautiful yet somber service. This service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to join us in person.

Good Friday Service - April 18th

At St. James the Less (10 Church Lane Scarsdale, NY 10583) 12-1pm. The Good Friday liturgy is from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer and includes the Passion according to St. John sung by the choir. This is a deeply moving and solemn service.

Easter Sunday Family Service - April 20th, 9am

 What’s Happening at SCC

Let’s journey together in spirit and service

We are a diverse and welcoming congregation that strives to strengthen each of our members, wherever we are on our spiritual path, so that we can make a real and positive difference in our communities and the world.

Wider UCC

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a community of faith that seeks to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed. The UCC was founded in 1957 as the union of several different Christian traditions: from the beginning of our history, we were a church that affirmed the ideal that Christians did not always have to agree to live together in communion. Our motto—"that they may all be one"—is Jesus' prayer for the unity of the church. The UCC is one of the most diverse Christian denominations in the United States.
