FASNY nurtures creative, open-minded, critical thinkers to become lifelong learners motivated to lead, contribute and thrive in an ever-changing world. We focus on the learning and well-being of our students in an academically rigorous, multicultural, bilingual setting that brings together the best of American, French and International education.
We value an inclusive community where everyone is seen, heard and feels respected.
We are responsible and accountable for our Guiding Statements & FASNY Fundamentals. We take responsibility for our actions, and we act with honesty, fairness, and compassion even in the face of challenges.
We care about others, and we take care of others; we put ourselves in other’s shoes, try to feel what they feel to better understand them, and accept/welcome their identity and differences
FASNY 8th grade students had the exceptional privilege of meeting Jean-Pierre Laffont, the internationally renowned photojournalist, during their Advisory hour with their Leaders of Learning.
At the end of March, 5 students from 6th to 9th grade traveled to the International School of Boston to participate in the North American Zone final of the “Ambassadeurs en herbe” competition organized by the AEFE. The students had to debate on the theme “Francophonie, a journey through time and space.”The FASNY team fought hard to win the quarter-final, the semi-final and finished 2nd overall after falling to Lycée Stanislas from Montreal during a verbal joust that impressed the jury. Mr. Mustafa Soykurt, Consul General of France in Boston, then received the students at the French Residence for an awards ceremony. On this occasion, Héloïse C ‘29 received a “Coup de Coeur du Jury” award to honor the quality of her speaking abilities during the various debates. During the trip, students also had the chance to visit Harvard University and take a historical tour of downtown Boston and “The Freedom Trail.” Congratulations to the 5 team members for their oratorical skills and for their team spirit, which was praised by the jury members! #WeloveFASNY

Last week our first graders took a field trip...right across the street! With Pre and Lower School Art Teacher Ms. Costa, the classes headed to Constitution Park to learn about the artistic statues in the park and draw their interpretations. What a fun way to explore our local area and learn outside of the classroom! See more photos on SmugMug, link in bio. #WeloveFANY
