Trustees to Consider Appeals to Demolish Historic Homes - Plus Sales, Featured Listings and Open Houses

The owners of two historic homes are not taking "No" for an answer from the Committee for Historic Preservation who denied them demolition permits. After consideration by the committee, applicants for 12 Dolma Road and 26 Cooper Road were turned down in their quest to demolish the homes. Now they are appealing the decisions to the full Scarsdale Village Board of Trustees who will meet on Monday September 25 as an Appeals Board. They will consider a hardship application regarding 12 Dolma Road at 6 PM and the appeal for 26 Cooper Road at 8 pm.

In addition, the Committee for Historic Preservation will meet on Tuesday September 19 at 8 pm to review applications to demolish homes at 19 Old Lyme Road, built in 1959 and 47 Harvest Road, built in 1954.
