A Graham Road house caught fire Sept. 29, during a time that firefighters were also responding to over 100 storm-related calls. Upon arrival, firefighters saw a two-story wood frame house with smoke pushing from most of the windows and eaves.
Police on scene did not know if any occupants might be trapped inside because a car was in the driveway. Firefighters began to knock down the fire starting with the exterior patio area. The front door to the structure was open and there was smoke pushing out the top of the doorway. Firefighters searched the house while extinguishment was underway. Crews confirmed no one was inside.
