Two Scarsdale Students Win the NYCLU's Bill of Rights Contest

Ms. Valentin, (teacher, AT Constitutional Law); Lauren Jacoby, Best in School Prize winner ($100); Katie Bowen, Grand Prize winner ($200) - LHV NYCLU’s Bill of Rights Contest; and Ms. Rashida Robinson, Attorney Consultant and Guest Speaker, NYCLU.
Ms. Valentin has been taking SHS students in Criminal Justice to the Bill of Rights Day for the past seven years - and recently added students in the AT Constitutional Law class. This year, SHS teacher, Kate Krahl, joined them with her AT Government class. Students from AT Constitutional Law and AT American Gov’t. at the historic St. Paul’s church in Mt. Vernon for Bill of Rights Day.
