13 Residents Elected to Citizens Nominating Committee

The Citizens Nominating Committee (CNC) election conducted by the Procedure Committee was held Tuesday, November 10 in Village Hall. Linda Blair Doescher served as the Chair of the Election Committee. Thirteen Scarsdale residents from Scarsdale five elementary school districts were elected as the Class of 2018. They will join the current CNC members in December and January to select candidates for village trustee and village justice of the Scarsdale Citizens Non-Partisan Party. These candidates usually run unopposed in the March Village elections.
The total number of voters was 224; 25 voters used the mail-in ballots. Number of voters by district was Edgewood (24), Fox Meadow (84), Greenacres (66), Heathcote (34) and Quaker Ridge (16).
Joining the CNC is a diverse, committed group of citizen volunteers.
