After a short-term investigation by the Greenburgh Police Drug and Alcohol Task Force, Detective Division and Street Crime Unit , four people were arrested at two spas for failing to have licenses to work as massage therapists. No licensed masseuse was on the premises at either location at the time of the arrests. The arrests were made at Jade Spa at 698 South Central Avenue, Scarsdale and Charming Spa, 390 South Central Avenue Scarsdale. The four subjects were taken to police headquarters where they were booked, processed and released on bail.
Arrested were:
- Meihua Tai of Flushing, N.Y.
- Hong-Jin Jong of Flushing, N.Y.
